RESTORATION FAQ

The moment you suspect you have a problem is the best time to call Clear Mitigation. Your peace of mind is our priority and we want to help you be proactive should your concerns amount to a real problem at your home or business.

Advanced technology and equipment are necessary to properly assess property damage. In most cases, you cannot see the extent of the destruction with just the naked eye. When we suspect there is water damage, for example, Clear uses a moisture meter and infrared cameras to uncover where the water is and what damage it has done. Clear technicians always aim to solve the whole problem and never cut corners when it comes to your property or your safety.

We offer free inspections, estimates and no-obligation consultations.

Whether you choose to call your insurance company first or wait until a Clear technician has assessed the damages, we will create the best possible outcome for you. It is always your choice in how you would like to proceed and our friendly staff will be there every step of the way.

Clear has working relationships with many major insurance carriers and can help coordinate invoicing and payment when applicable. We make it a point to let you know when we recommend services that are generally not covered by insurance.

We accept most major credit cards and, if eligible, we can work with you to pay off the expenses through a payment plan.

In addition to inventory and pack out services, Clear also offers storage solutions to protect your belongings during the restoration process.

The first step is to always consider your safety and the safety of others. Stay away from electrical hazards (shut off the breaker if possible) and be mindful that the water causing the damage may contain chemical or biological contaminants, especially in the case of a flood.

Depending on the source of the water damage, make an effort to turn off the water at the main shut-off valve if it is safe to do so. When flooding and water damage strikes, you must act fast to minimize the impact. That’s why it is best to call Clear professionals to assist! We’re available 24 hours a day 7 days a week for emergencies.

The length of the drying process will always depend on the size and scope of the damaged area. For smaller areas, it can usually take between 3-5 days to completely dry out the space to be ready for reconstruction. For larger projects, it can take up to 7 or more days.
